Dr. Mucowski has presented several abstracts at national meetings, and authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals. Her research and clinical interests include implantation and placentation, uterine anomalies, resident mentoring, and minimally invasive surgery. Specific research publications include:
- Dystroglycan Expression in Human Placenta: Basement Membrane Localization and Subunit Distribution Changes Between the First and Third Trimester
- The Arcuate Uterus – A Critical Assessment of its Diagnosis and Clinical Relevance
- von Willebrand’s Disease and Pregnancy: A Practical Approach for the Diagnosis and Treatment

Education
Dr. Mucowski completed her B.S. in Biology at Villanova University, where she graduated cum laude. Upon admission to Villanova, she began a six year B.S./M.D. program with Drexel University College of Medicine, where she received her M.D. degree. Dr. Mucowski then received her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she was Chief Resident. She is currently in subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California
